Yesterday was signed construction contract for the multi-purpose arena in Tauragė.
The exciting, magnificent, state-of-the-art project will accommodate at least eight sports, such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, badminton and more. The building will include three running tracks and a sand volleyball hall. 'Synergy Solutions', the company that designed the arena, wanted the building to be as versatile as possible: the spaces could easily and in the shortest possible time adapt to the needs of different sports and the building's acoustic qualities would allow for the organisation of high quality cultural events.
Both our CEO Romas Paliulis and the Mayor of Tauragė District Municipality Dovydas Kaminskas are excited about the project and look forward to it being another attraction to promote sport, sporting events and raise the profile of the Tauragė region, and we are looking forward to the start of work.
