Construction of the Kaunas clinics outpatient diagnostic center – during the pandemic, but on time.
The capsule was laid in the fall of 2019, and a year later, the center was already accepting patients. During that time, the pandemic began, but the work could not stop – we had to find solutions to get everything done on time.
The specifics of the project were no less complicated: we used different structures at the same time – bricks, reinforced concrete products, monoliths. The entire construction had to run like clockwork – each material had to arrive at a precisely specified time so that the process would not stop.
Today, this 6,500 sq. m. building is a place where 40% of all outpatient services of Kaunas clinics are provided, visited by about 2,500 people every day. It features a glass - roofed atrium, spacious central staircases, a waiting room with a café, a reception area, and rest areas for staff.
We completed the project on time, despite the circumstances. And this was only possible thanks to the strong, experienced, and clockwork - like "Gilesta" team.
